We spent Thanksgiving with my family in the Phoenix area. My parents agreed to watch the kids for one night, and my husband and I headed down to Tucson. I hadn’t been to Tucson since I was in high school, and I really enjoyed our short stay. There will be at least one more post about it, but I decided to pick a picture from the visit for my Something Splendid this week. This wasn’t the one I thought I’d pick going in, but I love the saguaro in front of the mountains, and the low clouds on the mountains (it had been raining just an hour or so earlier). We’d intended to drive up into the mountains, but the road was closed for maintenance so this was as close as we got.
